According to Gerry Fraley of the Dallas News, the Rangers are interested in free-agent outfielder Raul Ibanez as a budget-priced left-handed bat. Ibanez earned $1.1 million this season with the New York Yankees. The Yankees have indicated a willingness to bring back Ibanez.
