A.J. Burnett is the Pirates Opening Day Starter

The Bucs start here with A.J. Burnett on Opening Day.

Burnett will be making his first ever Opening Day start when he faces the Cubs at home on April 1.

Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle has said left-hander Wandy Rodriguez will start the second game but declined to set the rest of his rotation.

Burnett will be the sixth different Opening Day starter for Pittsburgh in the last six seasons.
