“I always say that this is home,” Felix Hernandez said. “This is my life.” King Felix was brought to tears as he signed his new seven-year contract on Seattle to become the highest paid pitcher in baseball.
Hernandez was greeted by the Mariners front-office staff who wore the yellow “Kings Court” T-shirts that are a part of Safeco for his starts. That started him proving that there is crying in baseball.
