Jays win their sixth straight

The Blue Jays defeated the Colorado Rockies last night, 2-0, to earn their sixth straight win, their longest streak since May 10-16, 2011.

Josh Johnson struck out a season-high 10 in 7.1 but remained winless in seven starts with Toronto, having received only 13 runs of support.

Maicer Izturis hit a two-run single in the 8th to give Brett Cecil (3-0) the victory.
