Make way for the Jays

by Bill Chuck on June 20, 2013

I listened last night to Jerry Howarth call the final inning of last night’s 5-2 Jays victory over the Rockies last night and you could hear the excitement of the Jays fans as Toronto completed a three-game sweep of the Rockies and extend their winning streak to a season-high eight games.

Adam Lind hit a three-run homer, Mark Buehrle pitched five effective innings, four Toronto relievers held the Rockies scoreless, and the Jays (35-36) moved closer to the .500 mark.
