Torii Hunter hits #300

Torii Hunter hit his third homer of the season and the 300th of his career as the Tigers defeated the Twins, 5-2.

Hunter hit 192 homers as a member of the Twins and 105 with the Angels. His first career home run came with the Twins against Brian Moehler of Detroit at Tiger Stadium on April 5, 1999.

Hunter has hit eight homers against the Twins, including two this season, but the Royals are his favorite target with 31 against KC. Estaban Loaiza has been his favorite victim with Hunter going five-deep against him.

Hunter’s hit three walkoff homers and one inside-the-park homer.
