Michael Cuddyer vs Joe DiMaggio

In the Rockies 5-2 loss to the Giants yesterday, Michael Cuddyer singled to extend his hitting streak to 27 games, leaving him one shy of halfway to Joe DiMaggio‘s 56-game hitting streak.

The streak is the longest in Rockies history and in the majors this season. He has reached base safely in a franchise-record 45 straight games.
