Moore’s Lucky 13

Matt Moore won his 13th yesterday as the Tampa Bay Rays completed a four-game sweep beating the Minnesota Twins, 4-3.

Moore (13-3), who was added to the AL All-Star team yesterday, gave up three runs, three hits, two walks and had 10 strikeouts over 7.1 innings in winning his fifth straight start.

There have only been 13 other seasons in which a Rays pitcher has won as many 13 games
