Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano hit a pair of two-run homers in consecutive innings to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 4-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Soriano now has 12 homers this season and 384 in his career, passing Frank Howard, Jim Rice and Larry Walker and tying Harold Baines for 59th place on the all time HR list.
