White Sox first baseman Adam Dunn had three hits last night in the Chicago thrashing of the Tigers, including his 24th homer of the season.

It was the 68th career 3+ hit game for Dunn and the 40th time at least one of the hits was a homer.

The homer for Dunn was the 430th of his career breaking a tie with teammate Paul Konerko and put him into 44th place on the all time home run list.

Pretty remarkable turnaround, wouldn’t you say? I remember Dunn’s OPS+ was around 75 just two months ago, and now he is at 107. Good for him! Too bad the White Sox aren’t turning around like he is…
