Fewest RBI for 10+ HR hitters

by Bill Chuck on August 1, 2013

Did you notice that when Michael Morse was activated by the Mariners that Jason Bay was DFA-ed?

Seattle designated the outfielder for assignment on Monday after he signed as a free agent in December to a one-year, $1 million deal. Seattle has 10 days to trade, release, or outright the contract of Bay to the minors.

Looking a little deeper into this transaction, you can see his production is down by the Bay. Then again it’s down by the Morse as well
