Games won/lost by 4+ runs Report

by Bill Chuck on August 14, 2013

Last night, the Yankees had an unusual victory for them as they defeated the Angels, 14-7, the first time they won by more than a field goal in their last 26 games.

The combination of a good offense and strong pitching produces wins by four or more runs and as you can see in the chart below, the opposite holds true as well.

2013 – Games decided by 4 or more runs

The White Sox have played the fewest and are the only team that has not won at least 10 four-run games.

The Tigers have already played more 4+ run games than all of last season.
