The Adrian Beltre Report

by Bill Chuck on August 8, 2013

The Texas Rangers (65-50 .565) are now in a virtual tie with the Oakland A’s (64-49 .566) after they completed a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels with a 10-3 victory.

The Rangers, who have won nine of 10, have lost Nelson Cruz for the rest of the season but they still have Adrian Beltre who hit his 25th homer, a two-run shot.

With that homer, Beltre passed Gil Hodges and moved into 72nd place on the all-time home run list, with 371.
