The Miguel Cabrera Report: August 13, 2013

The White Sox topped the Tigers, 6-2, last night but that didn’t stop the rolling thunder of Miguel Cabrera.

Chris Sale (8-11), the never-ending advertisement for why you can’t a pitcher’s effectiveness based on his number of wins, pitched his fourth complete game of the season allowing nine hits including a pair to Miggy.

Entering the game, Cabrera was 2-for-14 (.143) against Sale, his worst average against any pitcher he had faced at least 20 times. He left the game hitting .222 after going 2-for-4 including hitting his 37th homer of the season.
