The Sac Fly Report

by Bill Chuck on August 22, 2013

We don’t talk enough about sac flies, which is really me blaming myself for not writing enough about sac flies.

Last night, the Texas Rangers completed their three-game sweep of the Hapless Astros, 5-4, thanks to an Elvis Andrus walkoff sac fly.

Andrus now has four walkoff hits in his career: singles in 2010, 2011, and 2012 and now the sac fly in 2013.

There have now been 960 sac flies hit this season by 360 batters
