The Adam Dunn Report

by Bill Chuck on September 9, 2013

Well, the White Sox won a game.

Finally.

I don’t want to go into how the Orioles 9th inning base running blunder enabled the Sox to hang onto the 4-2 victory and snap their nine-game losing streak. At the same time, Chicago (57-85) also avoided falling 30 games under .500 for the first time since ending the 1976 season at 64-97.

Adam Dunn went went 1-for-4 with three strikeouts but the one hit was his 31st homer of the season breaking Dunn’s 7-for-65 streak.

With that homer, Dunn tied Jason Giambi for 40th place on the all time home run list, with 437 dingers
