The Adrian Beltre Report

by Bill Chuck on September 30, 2013

In a game you need to win, you look to a team leader and hope that he comes through. Just like Nick Swisher homered to lead his Indians to a postseason clinching victory, Adrian Beltre provided the coda to the Rangers 6-2 win over the Angels, with an 8th inning homer, to ensure that Texas plays another day.

It was the 30th homer of the season for Beltre. This is fourth season that Beltre reached 30 homers and the third straight season.
