The Boston Red Sox Report

by Bill Chuck on September 2, 2013

This weekend, it was as if one Sox got lost in the laundry.

By completing their weekend sweep of the White Sox, the Red Sox clinched a winning season.

Thanks to the efforts of soon-to-be-named 2013 Executive of the Year, Ben Cherington, Boston has recovered from a combination of a roster that showed little cohesiveness and the ill-fated Bobby Valentine era, to become baseball’s most consistent team this season. They remain the only team without a four-game losing streak.
