The Chicago Cubs Report

by Bill Chuck on September 4, 2013

The Chicago Cubs lost last night to the Miami Marlins, 6-2.

In that game, Edwin Jackson dropped to 7-15 on the season, matching his 2007 career high in losses when he went 5-15 for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

But the big news for the Cubs fans, and I know this may come as a shock: with the loss, the Cubs were mathematically eliminated from winning the division title.
