The Max Scherzer Report

by Bill Chuck on September 21, 2013

Say as much as you like about the unimportance of wins, you still have to respect the accomplishment of Max Scherzer, who last night picked up win #20 becoming the first pitcher this season to reach the milestone when he led the Detroit Tigers to a 12-5 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Scherzer (20-3) got the elusive win after four tries in which he had two losses and two no-decisions.
