You can blame it on Charlie Manuel if you like (I don’t) but as the Reds beat Milwaukee, 7-3, even interim Phils manager Ryne Sandberg would agree that despite the Phils 5-4 win over the Nationals, the fact that Philadelphia yesterday was mathematically eliminated from the postseason was not the fault of the manager, whomever it might be.
