The September 9, 1965 Report

by Bill Chuck on September 9, 2013

If you don’t consider the matchup between the Dodgers’ Sandy Koufax and the Cubs’ Bob Hendley, the greatest nine inning pitching performance, I urge you to share with me one that was superior. Koufax threw a perfect game and Hundley threw a complete game allowing just one hit, one walk, and one unearned run.
