By defeating Toronto yesterday, 3-1, Baltimore won their first road series since taking two of three at San Francisco on Aug. 9-11. It was their first road series win against an AL opponent since winning two of three at Boston in early April.

And in the process, the Blue Jays were mathematically eliminated from the postseason.
