The Washington Nationals Report

by Bill Chuck on September 24, 2013

Instead of just shutting down Stephen Strasburg in October, this season, the Nationals decided to shut down the whole team.

Last night, Carlos Beltran hit his first homer in 24 games and Adam Wainwright earned his 18th win as the St. Louis Cardinals beat Washington, 4-3.

With the loss, the Nationals were mathematically eliminated from the postseason.
