The Wladimir Balentien Report

by Bill Chuck on September 15, 2013

Tokyo Yakult Swallows outfielder Wladimir Balentien homered twice on Sunday in Japan giving him 56 and 57 home runs this year.

With these homers, Balentien surpassed the Japanese single-season home run record of 55 held by Tuffy Rhodes, Alex Cabrera and Sadaharu Oh.

For much more on Balentien, I turn you over to Jerry Crasnick on ESPN.com.
