There is crying in baseball

With two outs in the 9th inning at Yankee Stadium last night, Andy Pettitte and Derek Jeter emerged from the dugout to remove their longtime teammate and friend from the game. Pettitte made the signal, tapping on his right arm, and as the Yankee captain, Jeter took the ball from Rivera and said it was “time to go.”
