15 Red Sox starters who have allowed at least 9 runs since 2000

by Bill Chuck on June 28, 2016

Boston’s Eduardo Rodriguez allowed nine runs on 11 hits in 2.2 IP in his start Monday night to the Tampa Bay Rays who had lost their previous 11 games while scoring 29 runs (including 11 in their last two).

The last BoSox pitcher to allow at least nine runs in a start was…wait for it…Eduardo Rodriguez, just about a year ago. If Eduardo is to allow 9 runs in his next start, it will be for Pawtucket, he was sent to Triple A following the game.
