The Yankees are 44-44 after 88 games, sitting at the .500 mark in fourth place. They have scored 371 runs and allowed 405, a -34 run differential.

This is the eighth season that the Yankees have been at the .500 mark after 88 games and they have made the postseason only once. It should be noted that when they made it in 2007 as a Wildcard team, at this point in the season they had a +73 run differential.
